Minds Matter Resource Group is more than a nonprofit organization—we're a community of people who believe that everyone deserves access to basic necessities, opportunities, and dignity. We're dedicated to breaking down barriers that prevent individuals and families from thriving, one act of service at a time.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to provide essential resources and support to those who need it most, creating pathways to stability, dignity, and hope for disadvantaged youth, families, and adults in our community.

Back to School Giveaway Program

Education is the foundation for a brighter future, but for many families, the cost of school supplies, clothing, and materials creates a significant barrier to success. Our annual Back to School Giveaway ensures that every child starts the school year prepared and confident.

What we provide:

• Backpacks filled with grade-appropriate school supplies

• New clothing and shoes

• Educational materials and resources

• Encouragement and support to help students thrive

We believe that no child should feel unprepared or left behind simply because of their family's financial situation. When students have what they need, they can focus on what matters most: learning, growing, and dreaming big.

Community Outreach for Youth

Beyond the back-to-school season, we're committed to supporting young people year-round through community engagement, mentorship opportunities, and programs designed to build confidence, character, and hope for the future.

Clothing Assistance

Dignity starts with feeling confident in how you present yourself to the world. Whether someone is preparing for job interviews, entering the workforce, or simply needs clean, appropriate clothing, we provide:

• Professional and casual clothing

• Shoes and accessories

• Seasonal outerwear

• Support in rebuilding wardrobes after hardship

Hygiene Essentials

Access to basic hygiene products shouldn't be a luxury. We distribute essential personal care items including:

• Toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.)

• Feminine hygiene products

• Grooming supplies

• Other personal care necessities

Essential Materials & Resources

We understand that needs vary from person to person. Beyond clothing and hygiene, we connect individuals with:

• Household essentials

• Resource referrals and community connections

• Support navigating other available services

• A compassionate, judgment-free environment where people are treated with respect

How You Can Get Involved

Donate

Your financial contributions directly fund our programs and allow us to serve more individuals and families. Every dollar makes a difference:

• $25 can provide hygiene essentials for one adult

• $50 can fill a backpack with school supplies

• $100 can provide a complete outfit for someone seeking employment

• $250+ can support an entire family through our programs

Volunteer

We need caring individuals who want to make a hands-on difference. Volunteer opportunities include:

• Sorting and organizing donations

• Assisting with distribution events

• Supporting our Back to School Giveaway

• Administrative and outreach support
